When you complete this diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, you will be deemed a qualified early childhood educator with competence and knowledge in all aspects of childhood development –aesthetic, creative, and physical. You will have training in first aid, safety concerns, and health and will be adept at planning for young children with special needs.

TABT has carefully structured its Assessments to include a variety of formats which will enhance your understanding:
- Multiple choice questions
- Case studies and Short Answer questions
- Workplace scenarios
- Observation
Upon successful completion of this course you will be awarded the CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care qualification by TABT. If a student successfully completes the units of competency, they will receive a Statement of Attainment relating to the units completed.
Duration & Delivery
Students have 12 months to complete this qualification. Students would expect to spend at least 16 study hours per week. During this period students shall be reading, conducting research, performing assessments and managing feedback.
It is expected that on average, students will have the following study load to complete this course:

Course Requirements
Entry to this qualification is open to individuals who:
Holds a CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or - CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Course Fees & Funding
If you reside in Victoria and hold Australian citizenship, Australian permanent residency, or New Zealand citizenship, you may be eligible for Victorian and Commonwealth Governments Funding for this course.
